TQP's Approach: As well as identifying and providing training support to the organisation in the area of total quality management, the continuing duties of the Q-Man quality manager are to: |

Satisfy the appropriate Assessing Body that the organisation complies with the requirements of ISO 9000. Set up arrangements that enable the organisation to receive the specified level of service from Q-Man. Ensure that the organisation continues to operate a QA system in accordance with ISO 9000 and that it aims to minimise failure costs. |
Represent the organisation's interest when dealing with their customers and suppliers on matters germane to quality assurance and quality improvement and provide professional direction to those with day-to-day responsibility for quality assurance. Provide the management of the organisation with information about quality performance needed for effective control of the business. Provide a balanced level of support in the organisation in line with the contracted arrangements. |
