This course is aimed at providing trained auditors who can apply audit methodology and techniques, and to manage and lead an audit team effectively. The course is non-technical and is suitable for people from all backgrounds.

At the end of the course participants will satisfy the training requirements for registration with IRCA as an Auditor/Lead/Senior Auditor.


Course Structure

The specific objectives are that by the end of the course, trainees will understand:

* the principles underlying quality management
* the requirements of quality systems standards such as ISO9001:2000
* quality systems structure and documentation
* audit methodology and techniques
* the IRCA auditor registration scheme

The course content includes:
* planning and preparing for an audit
* audit interviewing
* managing a team
* raising non conformities and observations
* reporting audit findings
using live audit sessions.


CPD Time: This course is equivalent to 40 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) time.
