Course Structure
Consideration of current purchasing requirements and an evaluation of this criteria with Supplier Quality Performance.Are we sending the complete message to our suppliers i.e.Quality,Delivery,Cost,in that order?
Consideration of the key strategic role purchasing (possibly supported by quality)should be taking in its efforts to develop Core or Preferred suppliers in each commodity group as a platform for improvement.
Consideration of the following techniques in assessing Supplier Quality Assurance Management Systems:
Second Party Audit to BS EN ISO 9000 or similar and reporting
Development,,implementation and Audit against agreed contractual quality plans
Target setting,,Monitoring of Performance and Improvement
The course will also consider the involvement of key suppliers with design,Sales,Engineering,Quality
and Purchasing to evaluate the use of advanced quality techniques in new or resourced product or service introduction.
The course is practically based and never loses sight of the client s product or service.In addition a measured amount of delegate participation is involved.
The course is led by 1QA registered Lead Auditors who also have a detailed experience of SQA strategy within major multi-nationals.
